About Dent (DENT)
Dent is a blockchain project that is focused on bringing a paradigm shift in the area of mobile data usage. Mobile penetration has been the greatest achievement of the 21st century. Even in the remotest parts of the world, it is not surprising to find a proper coverage of mobile phone network. Dent founders have a mission to revolutionize how the mobile data market works by significantly bringing down the costs of data in return increasing accessibility to related services.
How Dent Works?
The platform has been designed to offer users a framework where they can buy and sell mobile data. In other words, it is a mobile sharing economy platform that ensures that users can sell or donate the extra data they may have. The good thing is that, Dent is able to work with different telcom providers and is open for use in al, parts of the globe.
The marketplace for mobile bundles has been automated and allows seamless connection to mobile service providers. Users on the platform can buy mobile bundles while service providers are able to reach their users quite easily. Dent is also working to ensure that the cost of international roaming services is brought down significantly.
The process of accessing local networks in foreign countries is long and tedious hence the high charges. However, Dent simplifies this by cutting down the process to ensure there is a direction connection between the foreign operator and the customer seeking services abroad. This direction connection lowers the cost by a large margin.
The meeting with NTT DOCOMO is expected to lay the groundwork for a future partnership with Dent. NTT DOCOMO is the largest provider of mobile services in Japan. A collaboration with Dent will definitely benefit both companies in many ways.
